So, this is supposed to be some good wine and I chose to take the plunge.  At $22 a bottle, this wasn't a very expensive dip, but it wasn't a cheap one either.

This wine is complicated, giving you a combination of honey and cinnamon which is very weird for me in a sparkling wine.  This actually would be great with honey buns or a honeyed ham.  I would gauge that this is because of Pinot Noir grapes versus Chardonnay grapes.  The finish is very long and the bubbles very tiny.

This wine is a keeper and more people should try this one.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
